GENERAL CONTRACTING:

We take total responsibility for all material, labor, and services to complete a project. Prairie Construction Co., Inc.’s experienced field supervision and managerial staff assure the project will be completed on schedule and with the degree of quality required by the owner.

CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT:

We become directly involved in the planning stages; including interaction with the project architect regarding cost analysis of materials, site development, overall budgets, and construction schedules. During construction, we conduct on-site coordination of all work to meet the projects objectives.

DESIGN BUILD:

This is a “building team approach” that is designed to save the owner time and money. Prairie Construction Co., Inc. coordinates the overall planning, design, and construction by assembling a team of experts.

DEVELOPMENT:

We coordinate overall site development, including working with local and regional governments on zoning, land usage, and permits. We provide site information as it relates to traffic counts, visibility, accessibility, and soil composition based on testing. Ultimately the optimum site to meet the client’s building objectives can be selected.

PRE-ENGINEERED METAL BUILDINGS:

We are a supplier and erector of pre-engineered metal buildings fabricated by Star Building Systems. Star Building Systems upper Midwest manufacturing plant is located in Monticello, IA, a mere 90 miles away and is the only metal building manufacturer in Iowa. This proximity severely reduces shipping costs and makes the price of the pre-engineered metal building very competitive. Star has totally revamped there three manufacturing facilities with state of the art equipment and can now produce buildings at the lowest price/ton in the industry. CRANE RENTAL:

We have three cranes available for rent. Our fleet of hydraulic truck mounted and lattice boom cranes include a Grove TM475, Lorain LMC-330, and Bantam T-450 capable of lifting loads up to 50 tons and as high as 150 feet. Please call for charting information, availability, and rates
